IWORSHIP - Worship Software for your MAC

IWORSHIP

Boasting a slick and intuitive interface and rock solid stability, iWorship brings professional lyric presentation to your Mac. With an interface so simple, training volunteers to use the program is a breeze. And you don't have to sacrifice ease of use for powerful features: iWorship features built in song library management, high-definition video playback support, and much more!

Live Video Playback

Have your own simple one-camera IMAG setup, even on a low budget! Plug in any compatible USB or Firewire camera and iWorship will stream the image LIVE underneath your lyrics. Unlike other programs, iWorship's live video playback has no noticeable image lag!

Integrated DVD Player

Run clips from a DVD in your service without leaving iWorship. You can even cue up a clip before the service and turn off the playback window. When you're ready, your clip will automatically resume right where you left off!

Full High-Definition Video Playback

Press the "Media" button at the top of the window and a full media player swoops down allowing you to play back videos, pictures, DVDs and even live video. iWorship includes full high-definition support at no cost -- limited only by your hardware. Play motion backgrounds behind your lyrics to enhance your worship atmosphere or even play back sermon illustration videos without having to leave iWorship and rely on another program!

Powered by Quartz

iWorship's media functions such as live video playback and video backgrounds are powered by Apple's Quartz technology. Instead of relying on Quicktime, Quartz allows immediate access to the core layers of functionality on your graphics card and CPU. This means greater stability, better performance, and more future possibilities. Quartz is now being used in most of Apple's programs such as iMovie, iPhoto and PhotoBooth for these very reasons.

Blazing Fast Editing!

Editing your worship song on the fly is incredibly fast and easy. Simply drag and drop the slides to change their order in the song. Double click any slide to edit the contents directly in the slide. Not having to move to a different window to edit the slide means incredibly fast editing even live during a presentation. iWorship also features built in live spell check that happens as you type. Simply put, the speed at which you can edit your presentation in iWorship simply can't be beat.

Import Lyrics from Anywhere

iWorship allows you to import your song lyrics for presentation from just about any source. Found the lyrics on the web? Copy it to the clipboard and iWorship will create a song for you and automatically separate it into individual slides. You can also import from almost any text document including Word documents!

Don't Worry, It's Safe!

One more reason to have a .Mac account: iWorship will automatically backup your song and media library to your iDisk using the free plugin for Apple's Backup program. In addition, iWorship was designed to not rely on a central database containing your entire library as other programs do. This means faster access times and less risk of a "database corruption" causing you to lose

Bible Gateway - free online bible resources

One of the great bible resources available online. It has a lot of online tools that you can use in your website, blogs and messages in the net. Use it well for his glory.

What it is

The Bible Gateway is a tool for reading and researching scripture online -- all in the language or translation of your choice! It provides advanced searching capabilities, which allow readers to find and compare particular passages in scripture based on keywords, phrases, or scripture reference.

History

The Bible Gateway was first started in 1993 by Nick Hengeveld while attending Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.

In 1995 Nick became the first webmaster at Gospelcom.net. He brought the Bible Gateway with him, and since then it has been one of the favorite resources provided by Gospel Communications International (the parent company of Gospelcom.net). The Gospelcom.net team has been maintaining and developing the Bible Gateway and continues to add new translations, languages, and functionality.

Gospelcom.net is extremely grateful to many publishers and Christian organizations that have contributed their many Bible resources and translations for use in the Bible Gateway, including Gospelcom.net alliance ministries such as International Bible Society and The Lockman Foundation.

Upholding Our Future Hope

Upholding Our Future Hope

G. Jorge Medina

This book disputes the preterists' theories and demonstrates fully the truth recorded in Scripture. Compiled by G. Jorge Medina. Contributing authors include: David Bernard, William B. Chalfant, Steve Pixler, J. R. Ensey, Phillip A. Dugas, Ken Gurley, John T. Larabell and David Norris.

"Our movement has made allowance for unity in diversity. We must not, however, seek diversity at the expense of truth. We must at all times take a firm stand for biblical truth, as the authors of this book have done. They have thoroughly demonstrated that preterism contradicts the Holy Writ. While we can allow for a pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib Rapture, we cannot allow preterism to rob us of 'that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.'" - Anthony Mangun

Learning to trust God

Trust is a dimension beyond faith. Faith will see miracles, but trust will carry you through when you can’t understand why faith didn’t work. Not always can faith deliver from the den of lions, but it’s trust that will be able to keep you. Not only faith will deliver you from the valley of shadow of death, but trust will carry you through the valley.

1. God’s Word—Studying the track record of someone or something in which we can possibly trust, can become a basis for our decision. After examining some things, we know they are not worthy of our trust, whereas others build confidence in our heart and mind. The Bible is one of the most valuable instructors available to teach us how and whom to trust.

Proverbs 22:17-21 establishes steppingstones to trust.

A. We are to lend our ear and hear the words of the wise. Hearing God’s Word is a prerequisite to faith; and faith is a prerequisite to trust. First, in our journey we must hear God’s Word.

B. Next we are to apply our hearts to God’s knowledge. Truth must enter into our heart and be believed and accepted as fact (verse 17).

C. Retention of the Word is essential; we must keep it within and hide it in our heart (verse 18).

D. “They shall withal be fitted in thy lips” (verse 18). We must then speak God’s Word verbally and mentally in our self-talk. “That thy trust may be in the LORD . . .” (verse 19).
We cannot acquire trust in God without absolute confidence in His Word. If we
follow these steps with the Word, trust in God will be established in our lives.

2. Personal Experience—Serving God will bring encounters with all types of experiences, an from these we will learn to trust in God. Trials, sickness, hurts, disappointments, etc., will not destroy us if we are determined to be saved, and they will develop in us a deep, abiding sense of confidence and trust. After nearly forty years of leading Israel, David, in reflecting upon his many battles, knew whom he could unquestionably trust. He had been betrayed by a son, trusted counselors, and friends, but he could say of God, “In him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence” (II Samuel 22:3).

3. Instruction
—Arriving at the point of being able to trust God could be accomplished so muc quicker if we would only learn from others. God has blessed most of us with parents, elders, ministers, and friends in our lives from whom we can learn valuable lessons of trust. Receiving instruction from others based on God’s Word and their experiences can be a shortcut to our goal if we will only listen. Trust, in a great measure, can be learned through instruction (Ephesians 1:13).

    Introducing 3D Tabbed Browsing

Your regular browser has one window. When you create a new web page, it replaces your old web page and gives you a tab. But what if you had unlimited space? What if you now had: here, there, and the space between? SpaceTime™ is proud to introduce this "space between" as 3D Tabbed Browsing. Just enter your websites in the address line as you normally would and watch as your web pages are individually displayed in a stunning 3D space where you can view all of your web pages at the same time. Effortlessly shuffle from one page to the next in your 3D space by clicking on the icons for these web pages on your timeline. It's that easy.
